Busy primary care medical practice seeking an experienced medical receptionist.
The medical receptionist greets and registers incoming patients, collects demographic and insurance information, collects copayments and deductibles, schedules appointments, verifies insurance plans, processes outgoing referrals and orders. This position answers incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner.
Knowledge of electronic medical record systems is a requirement.
Must be a team player, eager to learn, works well with others and is patient care driven.
Medical office, HIPAA compliancy and insurance experience strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
