We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant for our Williamsburg Primary Care office. This position is available as full-time or part-time.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming patients and collecting registration information
Answering and managing incoming calls
Checking out patients and collecting co-pays
Insurance verification
Appointment scheduling and general office duties
Using software to record quality measures
Faxing, copying, and scanning documents
Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
Scheduling tests and specialty visits
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system, copier, scanner, fax machine, and computer
Strong commitment to customer service
Friendly attitude toward patients and staff
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Salary and Benefits:
$15 – $19 per hour, based on experience
