Established in 1994, American Indian Health & Services (AIH&S) is a Santa Barbara community health clinic that provides medical, dental, pediatric and behavioral health services to all members of our community. Our community health center employs approximately ninety full-time staff members in its Medical, Dental, Pediatric and Behavioral Health programs in order to deliver quality healthcare through the industry-leading Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model established by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Render diagnostic treatment, consultation, referral and emergency and other services to persons serviced, maintaining a productivity rate of 3 patients per hour.
• Develop, review, up-date medical protocols in conjunction with medical staff.
• Responsible for continuity of patient care, referrals for specialty care, patient placement and utilizing community resources.
• Participate in committees such as Quality Management committees.
• Maintain recognized standards of care and high levels of quality patient care
• Utilize the NextGen Electronic Health Record system of AIHS
• Strives to meet the requirements of NCQA PCMH Level 3

PREREQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California
• Family Practice Experience
• Prefer experience in a community health care setting.
• Prefer Board Certification

FLSA Status: Exempt

Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week). Clinic is open between the hours of 8am – 6pm, Monday-Friday.

Salary Range — $260,000 – $330,000 annually (starting salary will be determined by a range of factors, including years of experience and internal equity)
