MEDICAL ASSISTING: 1 year (Preferred)

EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)

BLS Certification (Preferred)

Medical Specialties: Primary Care

Responsibilities:

Taking medical histories

Preparing patients for examinations

Assisting the physician during examinations

Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens

Performing basic laboratory tests

Preparing and administering vaccinations/immunizations, as directed by the physician or nurse practitioner

Phlebotomy

Taking electrocardiograms

Requirements:

Certification

Knowledge of medical procedures

Excellent time management skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work

About the Role:

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You must be able to multitask, with excellent organizational skills. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management.
