Lexington Family Physicians is a busy, private, group family practice,
looking for a motivated PA to add to our staff.
Experience not necessary.
Will consider new graduates.
Must have graduated from an accredited PA program.
The position is full time.
Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and 1:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday.
Call is minimal – telephone only, approximately 1 weekend per month, 1 day per
week.
NCCPA certification required, DEA license or eligible.
Duties include:
Interview and examine patients to determine a diagnosis.
Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes to remedy medical
problems.
Stitch wounds and perform minor office procedures as indicated
Maintain patient records and provide documentation for insurance
companies.
Compensation includes paid vacation, CME allowance, coverage for
licensure fees, medical insurance, 401k with company match.
