Job Posting: Medical Biller & Coder

Location: Wolinsky Primary Care 1315 Avon St #101 Fayetteville NC 28304
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time (4-day workweek)

Wolinsky Primary Care is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Medical Biller & Coder to join our dedicated team. We are a patient-centered primary care clinic that values compassion, efficiency, and excellence in care — both clinically and administratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately code patient services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines
• Submit and track insurance claims, appeals, and rejections
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits
• Perform regular audits to ensure coding compliance
• Communicate with insurance providers, patients, and staff regarding billing issues
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing & coding experience, preferably in a primary care or outpatient setting
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of EHR systems and medical billing software
• Strong understanding of insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
